Steven Michael Klepfer, 61, of Pendleton entered Heaven’s Gate on March 10, 2015 unexpectedly at his residence with his loving wife and soulmate, Jeannie (Anderson) Klepfer by his side.
He was born December 23, 1953 in Muncie and was raised in Daleville. He was preceded by his father, Gerald Klepfer, and mother Mary (Davis) Klepfer.
Steven graduated and was an instructor at IVY Tech in Heating & Air Conditioning. He was a Commercial Sales Engineer for over 30 years. Steven treasured spending time with his family. He felt a special joy and pride in his granddaughters. His life’s pleasures were camping, fishing, hunting, traveling, gardening, bowling, and barbecues with his family. Steven, especially enjoyed long walks and talks with his wife on the beach. He adored the time he spent with his dog, Henry.
Steven is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Jeannie (Anderson) Klepfer; beautiful daughters, Christie (Michael) Bolser, Cherish (David) Green; beautiful granddaughters Taiyler Bolser, Toni Bolser, and Catelynn Williams. Also, he left behind a brother Gerald Klepfer Jr, sisters Deborah Zaki and Carolyn Klepfer; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews that were loved.
Visitation will be held Saturday, April 4th from 11 to 1 p.m. at Robert D. Loose Funeral and Crematory, Anderson.
Services will follow immediately at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with his cousin, Keith Huffman officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family through the funeral home to help with the expenses.
