Tanya Lynn Timmons

Tanya Lynn Timmons, 70, peacefully passed away in her sleep on July 24, 2022. Tanya was born in Anderson, IN to the late Max E. and Chloris J. (Kelley) Timmons. Tanya graduated from Madison Heights High School and then attended Ball State University earning a teaching degree in special education. She began her career at Plainfield Community School Corporation as a special education teacher to junior high school students. In addition, she obtained her master’s degree from Indiana University. Tanya found her spiritual home at First Baptist Church and was a faithful member for many years. She loved her two cats, fashion, and all sports. Tanya will be remembered by her sister, Terri (Richard) Foss of Illinois; niece, Amber (Vince) Huggins of California; and her aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents. The visitation will be from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, August 1, 2022, at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, IN 46013. A graveside ceremony will immediately follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Tanya’s name may be gifted to First Baptist Church.
