Teena J. Pittser

Teena Jean Pittser, 71, of Alexandria peacefully passed away at her home on January 8, 2026 after a long battle with cancer.

Though she never had children of her own she loved spending time with her nieces and nephews. She also enjoyed being a nanny for several years to a young boy (Cinch) whom she loved like family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James (Jim) and Jacqueline (Jackie) Pittser.

Teena is survived by her sisters, Melony (Tom) Zimmer and Terri (Kenny) Maupin; nieces and nephews, Christy Zimmer, Kim (Chad) Sisk, Kennette Lusher (Mike Cox), KenLee Maupin (Haleigh Whicker), Kylee Zimmer and Christopher Zimmer; several great nieces and nephews; and several great-great nieces and nephews.

The family would also like to thank Corsocare Hospice and Dr. Reddy for her care.

Visitation for family and friends will take place at Bozell Funeral Homes & Crematory, Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel, 515 E. 53rd Street, Anderson, Indiana on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 from 10:00 am -1:00 pm. A funeral service will be at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Mark Hahn officiating.

Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Lymphoma Research or Liver Cancer Research through the funeral home.
