Thelma “Kathy” Ford, 74, of Anderson, passed away February 1, 2023 at her residence. She was born April 8, 1948 in Middlesboro, KY to Lula (Fee) and Walter Ingle. She was a Christian and loving mother who enjoyed her family.

Kathy was preceded in death by her first husband, Larry Cain, whom she shared a son Michael (Farrah) Cain, of Anderson and a daughter Michelle “Shelly” (Doug) Giles, of Martinsville. She found love again in Francis S. Ford, who passed away in 2013.

She is survived by her brother, Coy (Mary) Fee of Anderson; step-daughters, Missy Richards and Kelly Ford (Kentucky); grandchildren, Dylan Cain, Sara Giles, Matthew Giles, Roger Richards, Bridgette, Tyler, Braxton Neighbors, and Sydney Hall; and 5 great-grandchildren.

She is also preceded in death by sisters, Bonnie Bruce, and Violet Turbeville.

The family will be having a memorial service at a later date.
