Thelma Estelle Taylor

She was born April 21, 1937, in Livingston, Tennessee, the daughter of Casto and Bertha (Matheny) Thompson.

She was a homemaker and was a member of East 38th Street Freewill Baptist Church. She had a green thumb, enjoyed painting and spending time with family including grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her four children, Ron (Eugenia "Gina") Taylor of Greentown, Doug (Janice "Jan") Taylor of Monroe, Tennessee, Michael (Suzanne) Taylor of Springhill, Tennessee and Debbie (David) Danner of Anderson; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Richard (Sue) Thompson; sister-in-law, Eleanor Thompson and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, J. T. Taylor; siblings, Joe (Clara) Thompson, Charles (Vesta) Thompson, Odean (John) Key, Christine (Bill) Galbreath and Carlen Thompson.

Services will be held Noon on Monday, October 24, 2022 at East 38th Street Free Will Baptist Church with Revs. Mark Sluss and Eric Fox officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday, October 23, 2022 from 2 p.m. to 5 P.M. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service and Monday, from 11 a.m. to the service at noon at the East 38th Street Free Will Baptist Church.

Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
