Thomas Earl Greenwalt

Anderson, Indiana - Tom Greenwalt passed away on April 17, 2026.

He was born to Richard and Mary (Gallagher) Greenwalt on Jan. 3, 1940.

He retired from the Anderson Fire department in 1991 with 27 years of service as a fireman. He held the rank of captain and 2nd district chief during his time as a firefighter.

He was an avid fisherman and golfer.

He is survived by his daughters, Leah Greenwalt and Jill (Greg) Reeves; stepdaughters, Brenda Tilley, Nancy (Kris) Henderson and Kathy (Harold) Edge; grandchildren, Tyler, Emily, Sydney, and Jarod; step-grandchildren, Allie, Kyle and Kelly; and many great-grandchildren.

Tom was preceded in death by beloved wife of 47 years, Roberta "Bobby Jo"; stepson, Jeff Tilley; and step-granddaughter, Kama.

There will be a private funeral at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Humane Society.
