Thomas W. Meier, 85, met his Savior face to face in the early hours on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, from his residence following an extended illness.

He was born on December 16, 1940, in Pike County, Indiana to Ivan and Elnora (Julian) Meier. He was a graduate of Spurgeon High School - Class of 1958. He has resided in Alexandria for the past 22 years. 

Tom retired as Director of Facilities for Brylane in Indianapolis in 2003 after 35 years of service. He attended the Hope Church in Anderson.

Survivors: Wife - Janice (Schiffer) Meier-married September 11, 1960

2 Daughters - Kathy (Mike) Borgmann of Greenfield, Laura (Brian) Long of Anderson

Son - Timothy (Kerry) Meier in Wisconsin

8 Grandchildren

4 Great-Grandchildren

Sister - Nancy (Mike) Perry of Linville, Indiana

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister-Anna Lou Meier

Private family graveside services will take place at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Owens Funeral Home in Alexandria is honored care for Tom and serve the Meier family.
