Tommy Webster "Tom" Campbell

Tommy Webster "Tom" Campbell, 85, of Anderson, passed away on July 17, 2026 in Indianapolis at the Community Heart and Vascular Hospital.

He was born on April 26, 1941 in Paragould, Arkansas, the son of Charlie and Melba (Dunn) Campbell. He was a 1960 graduate of Madison Heights High School, and was employed as a firefighter with the City of Anderson Fire Department for 27 years, retiring April 30, 1996. He served as a Captain and Sergeant during his time with the fire department. He had also worked for Best Ever Dairy and attended the Church of God.

On March 17, 1978, he married the love of his life Mary Shonkwiler Campbell. He and Mary loved to travel and they also wintered in Florida for 15 years, where they still have many friends. Tom always said he had two jobs he loved, the fire department and Campbell's Installations. Tom's love of Canadian Fishing trips with family and friends were some of the most cherished memories of his life.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; children James (Andrea) Campbell and Kim (Bob) Walters all of Anderson; grandchildren Alicia (Robert) Johnson, Skylar Campbell, Ryan (Rachelle) Graham, Kevin (Brooke) Walters; great-grandchildren Tyler, Kaitilyn, Arayah, Abby, Alyvia, Madison, Alexus, Kynzlee.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Judy Campbell.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service. He will be escorted by Engine 7 to Anderson Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the funeral on Wednesday beginning at 11 am.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Parkinson's Foundation or the charity of the donor's choice.
