Vanel Stamps

Vanel Stamps, 47, passed away April 15, 2022. Vanel was born Sept. 27, 1974, to Elvan and Cathy Stamps. He was a 1992 graduate from Anderson High School. Vanel was employed at Nash & Sons Trucking where he was the #1 driver, help started their fourth location and member of Teamster Union 135. He enjoyed cooking and spending time with family and friends. Vanel is survived by his parents, Elvan Stamps Jr., Cathy Stamps; sons, Tyreze Stamps, Anwah Stamps; daughter, Timi Nova Stamps; brother, Trevor Stamps; six grandchildren; and a host of family and friends. Vanel was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul Floyd, Mary Floyd, Elvan Stamps Sr., Dorothy Stamps; cousin, Terrell Taylor; and aunt, Esther Clay. Service will be noon Saturday at UAW, 2840 Madison Ave., with visitation 10 a.m. to noon prior to service. Burial in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
