Virginia Shreve-Lee

Virginia M. Lee, 93, of Anderson, passed away on October 2, 2020 at Miller's Merry Manor in Chesterfield . She was born on September 2, 1927 in Noblesville, and resided most of her life in Anderson.

She retired as a File Clerk at Fort Benjamin Harrison, and she was a member of Clarksville Christian Church.

She enjoyed crossword puzzles, board games, working out in her yard, but most of all spending time with her family and her dog coco. She was also very big Garfield enthusiast.

Virginia is survived by her children, Raemona Parkhurst, Russell E. Shreve, Roger D. Shreve; siblings, Glenn (Bernice) Heiny, Lucille Higgenbothem, Charlie (Alice) Heiny, Donna (Woodruff "Woody") Woodruff, Mark Heiny, Louise Simpson, Harold Heiny; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Shreve; daughter, Phyllis Eastman; son, Dennis Shreve; parents, Raymond and Jessie Heiny; and her sister, Janet Posten.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Danielle Burton, and Darci Lawson for their loving care of Virginia.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 7, 2020, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St. Anderson.

Services will be at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, October 7, 2020, at the funeral home.

Burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park.
