Wanda L. Brandon

Wanda Louise Brandon, 90, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026 at Community Hospital in Anderson.

She was born on August 23, 1935 in Anderson, the daughter of Farrell and Berniece (Best) Weaver.

Wanda graduated from Anderson High School and was employed for 10 years at the Finance Center at Ft. Benjamin Harrison retiring in 1979. Following that she worked at Shirley’s Cut and Curl. She formerly attended North Anderson Free Methodist Church where she was involved in many church activities. Currently she worshiped at Wesley Free Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, James L. Brandon, whom she married on May 29, 1953 in Anderson; her sons, Bruce Brandon of Grantville, Georgia and James Robert Brandon (Patty) of Lebanon, Ohio; grandchildren, Ashley Jett (Dave) and Courtney Johanson (Evan); great grandchildren, Parker, Pierce, and Reese; half sister, Betty Sue Romine.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her niece, Shirley Holliday

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at 1 PM at Rozelle Johnson Funeral Service, officiated by Pastor Mike Hopper.

Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
