William Leslie Brown

William Leslie Brown, 92, of Alexandria, passed away on August 18, 2024, at Ascension St. Vincent, Anderson. He was born on December 15, 1931, in Anderson, Indiana.

William enlisted and proudly served his country, serving three years in the Army during the Korean War from 1950-1953.

He retired from SpringAir Mattress following 43 years of service. He loved to work puzzles, fish and was an avid Yankees fan. He loved his family and never met a stranger.


William is survived by his daughter, Tina (Tim Riggs) Brown-Whaley of Anderson, IN; granddaughters, Miranda (Joey) Jimenez of Alexandria, and Kindra (Kurtis) Rose of Elwood; great-grandchildren, Blake Smith, Mateo Jimenez, Amelia Jimenez, Elizabeth Cummins, and Terri Cummins.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Brown, parents, Roy and Dorothy Brown; twin infant daughters, Terri and Jerri Brown; brothers, Ronnie Brown and Bob Brown; and great-grandson, Daniel Jimenez.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 22, 2024, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St. Anderson, IN.

Services will be on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.

Burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
