William R. Meek

William R. Meek, 77, passed away Nov. 11, 2021, in Evansville, after a brief stay in the hospital. Bill was born Nov. 25, 1944, in Columbus, Indiana, to Woodrow W. Meek and M. Margaret Meek. When he was 9, Bill's parents moved the family to Anderson. He attended St. Mary's Elementary School and graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1962. Bill served in the United States Army from 1966 to 1968 and was stationed mostly in Germany. At an early age, Bill became a car enthusiast with that hobby turning into a small business while he and his wife, Sandra, lived in Florida. Bill and Sandra spent many weekends traveling to classic car shows. In addition to his parents; and older sister, Patricia Wiedenmayer. Bill was predeceased by his wife, Sandra K. Meek. Bill is survived by his three brothers, Richard Meek, David Meek, Stephen Meek; multiple in-laws and nieces and nephews. At his request, no service will be held.
