William B. Patton Jr.

He is preceded in death by his father William Patton, Sr,; his step-father, Gerald L. Stoner; mother, Helen Jean (Noland) Stoner; brother, Dennis L. Stoner, and son, Nathan Allen Patton.

Bill graduated from Madison Heights High School Class of 1962 and was employed by Delco Remy in Anderson from 1964 until his retirement in January 1998. He was a friend of Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad based in Albuquerque, NM as well as a member of the National Model Railroad Association for over 50 years. He volunteered for the Whitewater Valley Railroad in Connersville for over 40 years.

Bill is survived by his children Tamara (Christopher) Dengate of Ferndale, Michigan, Dawn (Thomas) Webber of Carmel, and step-sister Marie Martin of Henderson, Texas. Grandchildren Stephanie (Mathew) Dengate of Augusta, Georgia, Nicholas (Brianna) Dengate of Warren, Michigan, William Brant (Ashley) Sanders of Zionsville, Luke Evan Sanders of Carmel, and Kamryn Baily Sanders of Carmel. Great-grandfather to Riley, Lacey, Kinzley, and Nathan.

The family will receive friends and guests at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory,200 W 53rd St., Anderson, IN 46013, on Friday, July 1, 2022, between the hours of 11:00 am and 1:00 pm. The funeral services will follow visitation at 1:00 pm. He will then be taken to his final resting place at the Anderson Memorial Park.
