Decoration Guidelines

Cemetery Clearing of Decorations - Important Dates

• March 1-Total Clearing. Please be advised that this includes all decorations — inside or outside vases — to allow our grounds men to prepare for the change of the season.
• One week after Memorial Day
• Three days after Labor Day
• Three days after Thanksgiving-Fall Decorations Only.
• Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran’s Day and Halloween — Decorations may be placed three days prior to and remain three days following the holidays above.
  

May 1 to Nov. 15

Mowing, Weed Control and Fertilizing Season

The mowing of the grass governs the placement of decorations. Items placed outside the approved vase unit will be removed, if needed, to allow for the mowing and maintenance of the grass.

Nov. 15 to March 1

Dormant Grass Season


All decorations, winter wreaths and grave blankets are allowed.

Special Occasions 

To honor your loved one on birthdays, anniversaries, or other meaningful days, please stop by the office so we can issue a work order allowing special decorations at their resting place.
