Graveside Service for Family and Friends
Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery & Funeral Needs will prepare the gravesite for the committal service prior to burial in Anderson, IN. Once we've erected a tent near the grave with seating for family members and friends, everyone will then gather at the graveside with clergy or a leader for remembrance and committal of the body or cremated remains.

Within the grounds of Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery, an authentic English garden chapel in a park is available for committal services. Disassembled and transported from England, this 18th-century chapel is a beautiful setting for services to remember your loved one.
Military Services for Eligible Veterans
For those who have served their country, military honors are a special part of the funeral and a well-deserved tradition at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery & Funeral Needs. Under the Honoring Those Who Served plan enacted by the Department of Defense, a family may request the military honors ceremony for an eligible veteran.

1st Responder Services in the Garden of Chimes
Our beautiful Garden of Chimes has been designated as a First Responder section at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery & Funeral Needs. This is our way of showing our gratitude and honoring those who serve us every day. We truly appreciate each of these valued heroes for their service and valor. This includes our police departments, sheriff’s offices, fire stations, EMTs, paramedics, and our nurses.
As acknowledgment of our gratitude, First Responders have their own unique venue and additional pre-planning savings.
1st responder Incentives are not to be combined with each other or other offers. Burial arrangements must be made directly through Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery & Funeral Needs and are not valid with an arrangement made solely through a funeral home or other provider.
Funeral Service
The funeral service can be held in our chapel, a church, or any other venue the family chooses. We work with our families to design a service that honors their loved one with stories, music, or scripture. We also have life celebrants that lead services where clergy may not be chosen. Our celebrants are trained in creating experiences that help start the healing process.
Visitation
This time is set aside for family and friends to gather together to say goodbye, while being in the comfort of those closest to them. We can personalize the visitation to be as unique as your loved one with a tribute video, items or displays that were important to your loved one, or simply pictures displayed. We will work with your family to design the perfect gathering experience.
Graveside Service
A graveside or committal service is typically held immediately following the funeral service but it can also be a small intimate gathering of those closest to you.
**Opening and closing fees are typically due during interment or burial. However, if you prefer, you can pay these fees in advance during your pre-arrangement process for added convenience and peace of mind.
